Social Responsibility
At Anderson Computer Services, we are committed to conducting our business in a socially responsible and ethical manner. We recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to the community and country that supports us.
We have volunteered at different times to Hurricane Katrina re-build projects in New Orleans, LA and Pass Christian, MS. It was an honor to participate with so many fine people to help after such a devastating storm.
Local activism includes; Walk MS Chicago, Ride for AIDS Chicago, Holiday food and toy drives, donations to local Salvation Army Stores.

New Recycling Program
In order to help others and protect our environment we have initiated a program to recycle used computers. We will accept any computer, printer, monitor, or other computer related product. These donations should be sent post paid to:

Please delete all personal data from Hard Drive before sending computer. Upon receipt of a computer the hard drive will be removed from the machine and all data wiped using Department of Defense standards. The drive will then be re-installed and a clean copy of Windows loaded. These machines will then be donated to area charities such as; homeless shelters, soup kitchens, individual families in need of assistance, etc. If you have a specific charity you wish to donate to, please include a letter to that organization with your shipment. We will forward your letter with the donation and ask the charity to contact you so that you my receive their letter of thanks. Other than to individual families all donations will be made to non-profit organizations listed with the United States Internal Revenue under Section 501(c).
Computers that are not operational or repairable, will be stripped for parts. Unusable parts will be taken to certified electronics recyclers. Usable parts will be stored until a complete machine can be fabricated and donated. In these case it will not always be possible to donate to a specific organization.
It is our pledge that Anderson Computer Services will not profit in any way from any computer or related products sent to it for donation or recycling. We feel it our moral obligation to assist those in need and to protect our planet.
